The Quay House, Connemara
The Quay House is Clifden's oldest building, dating from the 1820's.  Originally the Harbour Master's house but later became a Franciscan monastery and is now run as a town house by the Foyle family, whose forebear's have been entertaining guests in Connemara for nearly a century.
