This luxury hotel is located on the west bank of the River Moy, 100 acres of magical woodlands inNorth County Mayo, a most beautiful part of the West of Ireland. Mount Falcon is the only example of a private residence by the famous 19th century architect James Franklin Fuller in Ireland. Mount Falcon had the reputation as one of Ireland’s premier shooting and fishing houses and continues to enjoy two miles of fishing rights on the River Moy, Ireland’s most prolific wild Atlantic salmon river . Whilst retaining the lodge’s charm and integrity, owners over the years have restored, renovated and refurbished the original house in order to create a luxury hotel. There are also private lodges dotted around the estate, a spring fed rainbow trout stocked lake and modern leisure facilities.

The Kitchen Restaurant offers a menu featuring the very best in quality, fresh and local organic produce. The Moy River is a source of Wild Atlantic Salmon which anglers are encouraged to “Catch and Cook “. Wild game also features on the menu in the winter months. Head Chef Philippe Farineau ‘s philosophy of “Irish Produce, French Heart’ tries to use as much as possible of local organic produce from vegetables to Wild Atlantic Salmon, Trout and wild game.

The Kitchen has been awarded numerous awards including a 2008 2 AA Rosette, the “Best Hotel Restaurant Award in Connaught” in 2013, 2012 and 2011 the “Best Chef in Connaught “in 2013 and 2011 by the Restaurant Association of Ireland.
